FIRST-TIME SKIERS Learn to love skiing right from the get go! Beginners: you will get everything you need to get started with the sport of a lifetime. Our instructors love what they do, and will teach you the joy and fun that comes with skiing, while passing along the nuts and bolts of how to ski. You are sure to have a great time while learning in our private learning area and on our beginner focused slopes and surface lifts. In addition, the Rossignol Learn to Ski equipment you will be using is designed to optimize the learning experience. To top it all off, our beginner area is at the top of the Red Pine Gondola, so you will enjoy the stunning mountain views on your way to and from the lesson – a true mountain experience! When arriving at Canyons Resort, please go directly to the Ski and Snowboard Welcome Center for the lift, lesson and rental tickets for your learn to ski / ride package. (Note: If you are in the area, you can collect tickets and get fitted for rentals between 3:00 and 5:00 the day before the lesson.) It takes time to be properly fitted for rentals: if you are arriving to the resort the morning of the lesson, please arrive to the Welcome Center by 8:30, so that you are able to pick up your equipment and still be on time for the lesson, which meets at 9:15. *Reservations for all programs are highly recommended and are often REQUIRED during holiday periods. We do not guarantee the ability to accommodate late reservation requests. All lessons begin on time; we are not typically able to accommodate late arrivals. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the lesson(s) start will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the first day's lesson(s). For no call-no shows and cancellations occurring after the lesson(s) start time(s), the cancellation fee is 100% of the total cost of the first day's lesson(s). Weather and snow conditions are not viable reasons for cancellation.
